CollegeScholarships.org provides information on financial aid options, including scholarships, grants, loans, and work study programs to help students pay for college. The site offers guidance on eligibility, application tips, and resources to support students in securing funding for higher education. 

The Discover Student Scholarship Directory is an online resource that helps students search for scholarships by category, major, and eligibility criteria. It provides access to a wide range of scholarship opportunities to support funding for college expenses. 

 MedSTEM Pathways is a paid summer internship running June 15 to July 31, 2026, offering high school students hands on experience in healthcare and STEM fields at Rush and partner organizations. Interns participate in work based learning and career focused classes to build essential skills, strengthen college readiness, and earn industry recognized credentials. 

2026 UI Health/University of Illinois Chicago Urban Health Program The Ambassador Pre-Health Summer Program offers the following:

 One Summer Chicago connects youth ages 14 to 24 with paid summer jobs, internships, and enrichment opportunities across the city. The program provides work experience, skill building, and career exploration through partnerships with local organizations and businesses. 

 The MedXplore Program Summer Internship at Advocate Health is a five week, full time paid internship in Chicago that offers undergraduate students hands on experience in a hospital setting. Participants explore healthcare careers through job shadowing, departmental exposure, and skill building. 

Chicago Transit Authority’s college internship program offers paid, hands-on work experience for undergraduate and graduate students across various departments, helping interns build real-world skills and professional knowledge at the nation’s second-largest public transit system. Internships are available during summer and academic terms, with pay and work schedules that vary by term.  

The City of Chicago offers paid and unpaid internship opportunities for students including those in college across a range of departments. These internships provide hands on experience in local government while helping students build professional skills and explore public service careers. 

The Summer 2026 Internship Virtual Information Session is an online event hosted by the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation, Inc. where prospective college students and recent graduates can learn about its in-person Summer 2026 Congressional and Pathways to the C-Suite Internship programs and ask questions about eligibility and how to apply.
